Charrion mentioned something like that too But even if it kinda fakes 2.1 I have never seen all 2.1 things function so smoothly on a device other than the Nexus One

can a modification script support 2.1 applications to run? Because everything works :)
The 2.1 apps that are in those mod are all ones that can be made to run on 2.0.1. In essence bobxloblaw is right, this is a mod rather than a rom. It’s 2.1 spoofing comes from the build.prop file.
It’s the best mod I’ve seen but it’s not really 2.1 but we’ll get there.
The file nexus1_2_1.rar constantly tells me it’s broken or unrecognized by WinRar. Anyone able to upload a correct one?

Hello, I am wondering if Voice Search will be present in the Nexus Rom for German Milestone? I manually updated my German Milestone to 2.1 and was sad to see no Voice Search. What can I do to get Voice Search on the German Milestone?

Works with my phone bought from eXpansys, had to root it . This rom is probably not on root.

Yes it works fine, this ROM is 2:01.

Well as long as you don’t have ‘only use 2G network’ checked (in mobile network settings) your phone should pick up 3G when it is available :)

I’d be surprised if that was because of your firmware. Which phone + firmware do you have exactly? Have you contacted your provider?
My provider won’t help me because I didn’t bought the phone from them, so forget about them.

My carrier’s 3G band is 900Mhz (Up/Down). I have UK 2.1 installed and rooted. Not the Nexus One ROM. Please help me :(
