In the forum thread mentioned above, Matt mentioned that he doubts many people would actually be willing to give up their warranty if it meant they couldn't go back; that after paying more than $500 for their Milestone they wouldn't want to risk that investment. I think there are more of us than he (or Motorola for that matter) suspects so I started a new thread as a sort of straw poll to get a real idea of the numbers.
